Not a bad half that, at least our general play and not least the pressing and intensity was good. We’ve lacked the movement in behind them, the creativity and decision making in the decisive moments. Especially Diaz’ failure to play Elliott clean through was a bad one.

One massive fuck up in defence mean they lead. Bad decision by Gomez first not to challenge, followed by a massive mistake by Van Dijk.

Thought Jota was good, Mac Allister decent and not least Bradley looks a fully capable to step in when required.

Plenty of time to turn this around, and I think we should be able to do that. They’re well organized and difficult to break down, but if we keep the pressing up they’ll make mistakes and we could and should punish them.

We've too many of our creative players out. Salah, Dom, trent are massive for us, and even robbo to give width down the line.  Get nunez on,Diaz right and harvey into middle instead of Gravenberch who's not done well. Get some fucking crosses in to cause a bit of chaos as they're too deep

Gravenberch so bad, he gives possession away so easy or loses his footing every fucking time, but what gets me is he looks like he doesn’t give a shit, doesn’t seem to get annoyed with himself, just doesn’t seem to be arsed. Gravenberch off, Harvey into midfield, Nunez on.

Fulham are a pretty good team, they are well drilled, and have got some pace (Robinson) and nouse (Willian) on their left hand side.

We’ve been the far better side (despite the commentators trying to portrait it as us having been outplayed), but as often is the case in these sort of matches, it takes time and skill to break down the low block sort of teams we usually come up against.

Curtis and Bradley have been very good, Jota and Diaz lively in spurts, the others need to step it up.

Starting to doubt Harveys impact in matches where the ref lets the other team be as physical as they like without penalising, he’s struggling mightily in wet conditions as well it seems.

Some attacking changes in the 2nd half (60 mins probably) will probably get us over the edge, but we’ll probably need a full team in the 2nd leg (contrary to the wishes of most of us).

Didn't see "squad depth" letting Willian stroll in the box and score easily.

We are all over the gaff. The midfield is lightweight and we have a right hand side of Bradley and Elliot.

Im hoping ill be eating humble pie by the end of the night but that team is bloody awful.

Gravenberch, Diaz and Elliot look ineffective. Even Jones at times, too many balls played backwards, we’re not making the pace and the tempo is far too easy to defend against. But they have mistakes in their defenders, and we have to capitalise by speeding it up and putting them under pressure.

Still plenty of time to turn it round, but they’re dangerous going forwards too.

Thankfully, there’s still a second game to iron out any fuck ups we make tonight.

We tend to struggle at their place mate.

MacAllister spends an awful lot of time hiding behind Fulham players. Show for the fucking ball

He's won the ball back well a couple times though

I don't even know what position he plays.

I feel the game passes him by
