I had to delete your existing sub as for some reason it wouldn't activate. It's happened to others as well, I think it's related to those who have had subs since the vbulletin days before the switch to the new software. The subs that were converted from the old site are a bit temperamental.

 

So I set up a new one to replace it. The invoice you paid had the old price on it too (something else I haven't been able to fix) so the sub has been amended to four months from today, meaning it runs until November.

 

Make sure you select the subscribers theme now to get rid of the ads.

@dave u I've got a similar problem, renewed for 6 months the other day, changed my theme but its now not showing me as subscribed and ad's popping up all the time

I'll sort that now mate.

 

A few people are having the same issue. It's over-riding new subscriptions with old ones, and when the old one expires the new one isn't showing as live. It's a pain in the arse but I can't figure out how to fix it.

I am getting ads on my mobile devices. They appear at the bottom. Thought it was something to do with me being abroad - but they are still here now I have returned. Not on my desktop browser though. Weird.

Yeah.

 

I have rebooted my phone and not seen any today - so probs was 'user error', I'll let you know if they come back - but tbh, if you were making any dollar on them, I'd leave them, they weren't too intrusive.

That's the background picker mate, completely different thing entirely. You need to scroll to the bottom of the page and click on theme.

Yep. Pop ups since I resubscribed a couple of weeks ago. Only really use it on my phone.

Change your theme at the bottom of the page to subscribers and that will get rid of them.

Just started getting boshed by ads. Using Firefox Android on my phone.

 

The Theme option isn't there for me?

You need to be logged in and then the theme option will be there.

 

If you aren't logged in it shows like your screenshot.

First ime back on here for months.

Can;t see the settings option on bottom. Viewing on lap top is not viable as getting ads and pop ups every few minutes. 

 

Remind me, if you are a member is it 100% free of ads and pop ups?

I can still get it by clicking on the dot/star but that’s a slight annoyance.

It started happening again a couple of  weeks ago for me before the crash bob.

Shouldn't have anything to do with the site going down. That was just that it ran out of memory.

It works fine for me so I don't know. I know nothing has changed at this end to make it stop working though.
