Apparently it's an injury he's had from the national team and meant he didn't play for them. These end of season internationals are a nightmare.

Yeah - sick of them.

 

Looks like he has been training ok though so hopefully nothing serious.

 

Although knowing our luck it will be one of those niggles that gets aggravated when he does play.

Kelleher seemed ok last season till he wasn't and then missed about the first quarter of the season iirc. Jota not too different either.

And this is exactly why we can't just assume these lads with good records before they join the club will continue to do so. Keita was fine iirc before he joined us..

I was just about to post that. What the fuck goes on with our injuries? Are we just too optimistic with recovery times? This thiago injury was meant to be 6 weeks. He's been out since April.
