Gary Neville saw Sheriff Bart taking himself hostage in Blazing Saddles and thought it was part of a documentary:

I’ve had far more important issues going on to get invest time contemplating the future of Utd but as I understand it this Ratcliffe guy will buy 25% of the club and expect full control of all football issues whilst being prevented under FFP from investing heavily on new players.

Am I missing something?

They've mainly signed players he's worked with before, what the fuck is he on about?

Erik Ten Hag has told close pals that he's frustrated with the transfer recommendations that he made to himself and will make his own firing a key demand ahead of crunch talks on his future with the strange looking new minority investor.

FFP is just a slogan.

He's got that whole fight club narrator/Tyler Durden shit going on by the looks of it, where his alter ego is getting him involved in all sorts of shenanigans without him knowing and he's having to deal with the fallout .

Only instead of domestic terrorism, his alter ego is constantly buying shit players.

Apparently Gary Neville is a new 'dragon' on Dragon's Den.

What, exactly, are his successful business credentials to be on it?

I look forward to the episode where the Glazers come on pitching for investment in Manchester United World

Standards falling everywhere then.   Gary Neville really does think an awful lot of himself.

doesn't he run a loss making hotel and a loss making football team?

It is making me laugh how Wrexham have waltzed in to the football league and look far more likely to go up at the first attempt than Salford who are wallowing in League two. This is despite neither of the Wrexham owners having any experience or knowledge of English football!

To be fair, he could well be doing that because the scouting and research is shit.

Still reflects terribly on him. 'Our scouting was so bad, I had to spend £200m on Martinez, Antony and Onana, and just like I warned everybody after my previous time managing them, they've been awful.'

For a self-proclaimed man of the people, he has a funny way of trying to make himself look superior. Really don't understand why the mancs fall for his schtick.

I'm not saying it's good..it's just an understandable point of view if he believes quality of recruitment is so poor, he can only really look at the small pool of talent he has worked with before.
