Cruella wants to exempt asylum seekers' accommodation from fire safety regulations.

Just more shit so when it gets thrown out she can claim the courts, lefties, press,EU, USSR and the CCP are all plotting against the country to rile up the baldy van driver walkers and to get more shit voted through to suppress rights.

How she managed to out evil the last cilantro was amazing enough. All seems more sinister when children of migrants are the ones pushing this sort of thing

As well as a negligent approach to fire safety, child safeguarding goes out the window once you stop seeing asylum seekers as human.

Ah, but as Ollie Dowden told me through the wireless this morning it's all to do with those woke fire 'people' who support Labour through their union paymasters and it's a political stunt.

He did actually say that as well, there is not a fate cruel enough for these cunts.

The first asylum seekers have now boarded the Bibby Stockholm.

I’ve actually got mixed emotions about this now. Obviously, it shouldn’t be a long term solution with people being left in limbo on a floating barge for years and measures need to be implemented to speed up the whole asylum process.

But…

If the fire safety issues have been sorted/deemed safe and people aren’t having their movements controlled once boarding the barge, then I’m not entirely against the whole idea. On the face of it, it does give off big “floating prison” vibes. But, having seen some pictures of the interior, it seems to be adequate accommodation, has a wide range of facilities, including a staffed medical centre. Plus, it’s probably a lot more cost effective than paying millions for loads of hotel rooms. And, although time will tell, it’s probably going to be safer and have better conditions than some of the awful slum hotels that asylum seekers are being housed in.

If it’s a success and provides adequate accommodation for asylum seekers, then even more public money could be saved by mooring a similar barge in the Thames, near the Palace of Westminster. MPs could stay in such a facility, significantly reducing the expenses budget for second homes, hotels and rented accommodation.

It still fucks me off the way the media - not just the right-wing hate-rags, but BBC and Sky - keep using the word "migrants" when they're talking about asylum seekers.  The reason shit like the Daily Heil do it is because it's easy to prefix the word "migrants" with "illegal"; the two have been welded together so effectively that the word "migrants" conjurs up images of illegal immigrants. There's no such thing as an illegal asylum seeker, so the correct term for the poor sods being held on this prison hulk doesn't really do the job of dehumanising them and putting them beyond our concern.

Agreed. I fucked up with the thread name. Apologies, again.

Conservative Deputy Chairman Lee Anderson has given a blunt response to charities complaining about the new barge moored near Bournemouth to house asylum seekers.

He told Express.co.uk: "If they don't like barges then they should f*** off back to France."

Common sense ain't it, don't want these forrins over here stealing our sunlit uplands and unicorns.

I've stayed in some Travelodges that would tempt me to pay good money to be on that barge instead. Providing all the H&S and fire certs are in place I don't see a problem. It's not as if they can't leave every day. I also agree about putting one in the Thames for the MPs. If they're so adamant that it's decent accommodation there should be fair minded MPs queuing up for a room on one instead of fleecing the tax payer for a Mayfair flat.

There's a British Asian tory voter on the radio at the moment explaining that he lives in the UK as his family was kicked out of Uganda in the 60s, who's also saying that the UK is full to the brim, and asking why asylum seekers aren't staying in the first available country they reach. Hard to know where to start with that.

I've heard that from Farage fans for years but hearing it from a bloke who's family were booted out of their home by Idi Amin is pretty fucking mind blowing.

This Bibby Stockholm thing is a fucking disgrace.  Shame on anyone who thinks it’s ok. It’s really not.

We can do better than this. Where has humanity gone. This is actually happening in our country.

This is an appalling  solution to a problem that has totally been created by the current Government.

Just process the fucking backlog.

We have reached such a state as a population that both of our main parties feel there are more votes in blatant racism, than in using the efficient, lawful and financially astute methods available to resolve the backlog issue.
