A win here would have more or less guaranteed a semi final spot, our next three games are Aus/India/NZ. Have to win at least one of those, maybe two depending on other results.

It has certainly shown England's weaknesses in a few areas on this type of pitch. Thankfully our next game V Aus is Lord's which will suit us, then India at Edgbaston, another good pitch then finally NZ at Chester Lee Street which is a pitch not many players will know a lot about.

Yeah, weird when you think of it. One Of Ali/Woakes or Rashid should have batted with their heads. Just stay in and nurdle singles giving the set batsman the strike. brain dead though.

Fucking hell Wood's. Stokes was going to get us out of Jail there. Lower batting order fucked us over there, daft batting by all. Hats off to S/L, they bowled well and kept the faith. They'll probably get bummed in their next game though. Cat amongst the pigeons now, need to turn up against Aus. India and NZ will probably have cemented their semi place by the time we play them, which could be a saving grace.
