I noticed the pitch markings were looking whiter than white on Saturday. I could see the line on the edge of the Anny Road penalty area from 107 of the Kop for a change.  Previously, due to the low angle of my seat, I could only see the side marking of the penalty area down the other end of the field before.

 

Not exactly a game changer but will be useful for seeing whether a foul or handball is in or outside the box in future games.
