People are genuinely nervous, I am. It's true that we may prosper, it's equally fair to suggest that there could be a pretty significant downside.

Yes I understand some people may be nervous but there's a big wide world out there for us.

Well Article 50 hasn't been invoked yet. Let's see what happens over the next few days and weeks. At least there can't be any further cries of no democracy (he says).

It cant be invoked until the result is known.

Even then, Im sceptical cameron will invoke it on a lead of less than 1 million votes.

In Enland, they came first for the disabled , And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t disabled ...

When they blamed the poor,

I remained silent;

I was not poor.

...then they came for the Poles, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Poles...

When they came for me, there was no one left to speak out.

Totally agree. I haven't said it'll be the end of the world or utter meltdown, but I do believe there's going to be some pain before any prosperity (and the prosperity is not guaranteed).

I don't buy into 'take back control' as we aren't in control either way, we are so intertwined with dependancies on each other (in the EU) and wider world events, that at best we might have 'a little more control'.

And I don't buy into the glib 'we'll control the borders again' - because we control 50% of our migration right now and have failed miserably to manage that 50%. Our borders won't be magically controlled with the flick of a switch, we'll need to massively invest in more staffing and better procedures to stand a chance of converting the notion of 'more control' into a genuine implementation - and where's the money for that going to come from?

I don't think even Cameron with his thin skin will chuck that kind of paddy. There are too many vested interests here to go and do that. Obviously not happy having voted to stay but it's definitely interesting times and hope there's no more fucking referenda.

Can a Brexiter please help me out and advise why I shouldn't shit myself that my Ukrainian wife may struggle to stay here?

Because no one is saying EU citizens already here legally will be repatriated. Can we please stop this scaremongering?

I think you're pretty safe, pretty much everyone has stated that the leave process won't result in enforced repatriation. It would just be unworkable with millions of people being sent packing in both directions.
