Well done, lads, well done! Special mention to Joe Allen, he was everywhere, and then some!

Not the prettiest win, but a vital three points. This keeps us right on the tails of Arse and the Mancs.

6 clean sheets in a row away from Anfield, we rode our luck a bit tonight, and Mignolet did well whenever called upon.

Calm and assured performance from Gerrard when he came on, which allowed Allen further up to do the pressing. Thought Rodgers got it spot on with his subs (and team-talk) 2nd half, good to see as well.

Our version of United's recent win over Newcastle.

All helps feed the self-fulfilling prophecy of feeling it's going to go your way, big 3 points given how poor we were but still managed to grind it out.

Rodgers' first win away there, 6 away clean sheets in a row, there were a few positives from a shitfest that was much better in the second half.

Hope we don't play like that again this season, dire first half.
