Liverpool vs Spurs

The problem is, we're playing a good team, who are playing us at our own high pressing game.  We're ok when teams sit off us.  Our results against teams above us have not been great.

But it's not their press that's causing problems.  We're playing through it pretty comfortably, maybe losing the ball once or twice but when we do break through it's set up to feed Sturridge or Markovic one-on-one with Lloris.  The problem is that the final ball/finish hasn't been there.

Where they've won the midfield battle is with the 50-50 balls.  Every single one is won by Dembele - he's destroying Gerrard and Henderson and just shoving Coutinho around.

Fucking hell, Cou has a bad 45 mins and people are calling him to be hooked. You're fucking cunts

He's a genius and capable of producing Magic. He's allowed a bad 45 mins ffs

Coutinho has about 2-3 of these games a season.  Just nothing seems to come off for him.  I don't see anything wrong with suggesting he be replaced soon.  It's not saying he's rubbish, it's just saying it's not his day.  He's a great player and will be great for us - he's allowed a bad game, but that doesn't mean we should leave him on the pitch to have it without doing anything.

Good game so far, Gerrard looked really slow in the first 20 minutes, often leading to Hendo being out of position. 60 minutes should bring on Lallana to have a go where Gerrard is.

Other than that I don't think anyone has been particularly poor, I've been impressed with most of Sakho's passes from the back and Emre is so class. Ibe and Markovic work really really well together.
