Anyone see Solskjaer then?

They asked him if he considers Liverpool to be title contenders. He replied "I couldn't care less" and walked off camera!

Whopper. Enjoy the Championship!

Some one needs to upload that sounds like comedy gold :D

Massive statement of intent today.  Last season I remember a few times we conceded goals to smaller teams, heads went down and bottled it.  Couldn't have been more the opposite today.  Cardiff did well but it was desperate stuff from their end. We did a professional job, regrouped and put them down hard.

Superb result.

Gutted for you, mate. You must have been in dreamland and wanking yourself silly in that first half.

There's always Sunderland.

Missed most of the first half - comp is more knackered than me - so it was 2-1 when I got it working. Then it was pretty shit for the rest of the match so hard to make any judgements.

What did people make of Medel? I know a few on here rate him as a target in the summer?

Solskjaer's so bitter that he can't even assess us as a team, he threw everything at us today to derail our title credentials, no doubt under masters instructions. I'm sure he would of relished the chance to say had he won, that the title is a step too far for us. Oh well another manc feeder club bites the dust, bye bye.

The beauty of that Sterling run for the 6th, intentional or not, is the Cardiff keeper didn't know whether to expect the shot from Suarez or the square ball to Raheem, and looked caught in two minds.

Either superb commitment and team-work or rivalry amongst players all desperate to get on the scoresheet, we've players busting a gut where others may coast.  No doubt Luis would have scored anyway, but it only increases our odds in so many situations.

Hard to describe this as having played a get out of jail free card because we won the second half 4-1. What it does show though is we have the mental fortitude to go far. In years gone by there are many teams that have fancied their chances in a title race only to fall behind in a game and fade away. Arsenal are a key example of this. I'll never forget how they capitulated after a last minute equaliser at Birmingham.

We keep going no matter what. I really, really wish we would stop making our lives so hard for ourselves and it would be irresponsible to not question the fact that we have shipped 3 goals at the poorest team in the league. But the fact is that we score so many goals that we are going to keep winning games.

That was a big win today because they're fighting for their lives. They sat off us a bit in the second half and we made them pay for it handsomely. Suarez is just ridiculous and he and Sturridge are on it. Together they are comfortably the best strike force on the planet. They are both spot on, and its amazing for us.

It wasn't perfect by any means, it can't be when you concede 3 goals and 3 sloppy ones at that. But when you score 6, you can't ask for any more than that. Sunderland is the BIG game because that's our much vaunted game in hand.

And Solskjaer is a bitter, runty little gobshite. Cunt.
