After the Carroll and Downing fuck up they personally came cover and cleaned house. Wonder if it's too much to ask they do that again. From their point of view Ayre has don't a good job on the commercial side. Maybe they should just make him solely responisble for that (expanding Liverpool's global revenue) and hirer someone who is solely responsible for transfers.

If Ayre does eventually get axed it will be interesting to see what parameters he had to work in. It's all well and good lambasting him now but if he's simply doing what he can with what he's got then I don't see how he's wholly culpable.

Part of the committee's remit will be to find value so would expect their recommendations to be along the lines of "player x if available for ..." Maybe the committee are being unrealistic with values
