Just watched the first couple of episodes now, entertaining to say the least! Insane amount of fighting, and Ivana Milicevic? Fuck me, she's amazing. Agent Harris from The Sopranos is in it also.

Yeah I am. It is really entertaining, but it's not particularly good. Fighting and fucking. In the most recent episodes they do away with changing scenes and just let the fighting turn into fucking.

 

Been renewed for a new season, too.

Aye, that's why the NSFW tags threw me at first. Couldn't help wondering how you can have plot spoilers when there is no plot.

 

I almost collapsed laughing when they introduced "The Albino". It must be a fun set to be around.

Has anybody tried to recommend this in the real world? I am having very little success, so far. The conversations keep hitting stumbling blocks.

I wouldn't say it's no good, it's enjoyable escapism. Just watched episode 8, putting the last one on now then I'm up to date.

 

True it's got no real plot to speak of, but if you go into it knowing it's just one big fight scene with a break for a bit of fucking in between, then you'll enjoy it.

I like it. Ivana Milicevic strumming one out in the bath confirmed my connection with the show and I'll watch as long as it's on. However, things like The Albino mean that if someone asks me if it's good, I can't possibly give them a straight answer that is not "no".

Damnedest single season of TV I ever saw. It's refreshing to see a show not letting itself got bogged down in inconsequential shit like plotting, character development, logistics or even reality.

The women are awesome in it. Milicevic is ace, that goes without saying but that Amish bird is something else.

 

I like Proctor as well, interesting villain.

ps, what do you reckon the minute:minute ratio of nudity to dialogue is for the female cast of this thing? I think it might be a record for non-porn acting.

Nothing will ever come close to Spartacus in that regard. I once saw over 25 pairs of boobs in one episode, and what an episode.

3 or 4 episodes in and he's killed a couple of rednecks, broke anothers arm, fucked all the woman in the town and thats without getting in to what he did to that ufc fella.

 

Ps what happenef in that ufc fight episode, cameras are in every scene and the minute they fight not one is to be seen.

I really have no idea how season 2 will pan out. They have found the dead Sheriff, the dead sheriffs son has seen the imposters fight on Youtube and the FBI are monitoring Hood. He's guranteed to get caught and that'd be the end of the show but you just know he'll not get caught and the show will go on.

Some shows get away with ridiculousness and are still ace. This is one of the them. My favourite new show of 2013 easily.

Nice end to the season, underlined by Jude's Madonna. Season 2 can't come soon enough.
