Hate is too strong a word but in my case but I thought he came across a bit arrogant in a few of his interviews. I know he's just a kid but his personality reminded me a bit of a young Phil Taylor so I found myself rooting against him.

 

He handled it well after the final yesterday to be fair but my gut feeling is that the likeable part about him is just the story around how incredible his achievement is and not necessarily him as a person.

Feels like someone had a word with him after the showboating against Dolan. He was much more modest against Cross and even more so after losing.

Nicholson used to come across as a prick as a player - but i actually mostly like listening to him when he talks these days - he comes out with some silly stuff at times but mostly IMO is a decent listen.
