Some of these Dalglish decisions are lunancy, got to be honest.

I don't have a problem with Suarez going off, we shouldn't be playing with two up front given the players we have at our disposal. It exposes the defence terribly and allows teams to overrun us with ease in the middle.

The worrying thing for me is that so far this season, he looks every inch the bog standard 4-4-2 dinosaur many critics insisted he would be from the get go. Last season, even when we used this formation it had more fluidity, but now it's basically a very, very slightly more refined version of the Hodgson style.

Elephant in the room I'd say, he's dabbled with 4-2-3-1 but everything from his transfers and tactics shout 1990 4-4-2.

We need to go 4-2-3-1 to get more solidity in the middle. I'd be happy with Gerrard replacing Adam alongside Lucas, and then having Downing, Kuyt, Bellamy and Suarez as the front four - though if Carroll improves (and he has been doing better today) he might get in the front four.

Got to change what we are doing. But first we need to finish this game off against Wolves.
