Always good to see people posting up their breakfasts.

I was an hour early for work on Friday so decided to take myself off for a quiet brekkie on my own rather than sit at my desk. Sticking it to the man!

£8.95 from the Grind Cafe in Sheffield's trendy Kelham Island area.

2 x slices of high quality bacon, well cooked

2 x high-meat content sausages, delicious

1 x runny fried egg, perfect

Homemade beans, lovely

2 x Portobello mushrooms (good but I only needed 1)

1 x fried tomato

1 x chunky slice of white toast

Excellent quality and well cooked. I could have done without one mushroom and half of the tomato and would have preferred a bit of black pudding (which wasn't available).

7.5/10.

There is some quality here

Egg -- there is some splashed fat but not the lunar landscape Brownie tried to pass off earlier - good

Bacon - one rasher? I do like how he has fallen into his natural position as a wall between the food and the beans.

The portobellos are FLEXXING!!

I am assuming there are two sausages - otherwise one rasher and one sausage????

Also it is cool how the toast has been done in different examples of the toast matrix.

"Gimme a 7 on the top third - then a strong 8.5 - then take it out entirely."

The beans are also, admirably, not intruding on other stuffs personal space

I had salmon, poached eggs and wholemeal toast for breakfast today.

Not worth posting a picture as no doubt you cunts would be bemoaning that I didn't grind the wheat myself. Nor catch the salmon in my jaws as it leapt out of the water whilst making its way back to its breading waters. Or lay the fucking eggs myself.

To be fair that sounds an ace breakfast.

More a Sunday breakfast knowing you’ll have a big roast later but ace all the same.

I wish I did like eggs, I’m still trying to teach myself to like them and can just about tolerate a yolk now, but they do nothing for me.

Salmon with poached eggs on Saturday. Mackerel with fried eggs on Sunday.
