Yeah, you're right. The timing is a bit shit. I could have sworn I'd already seen a video (or pic ?) of him clocking her in the elevator months ago.

Better late than never though, eh ?

There was the dragging her out of the elevator video. If it eventually comes out that the NFL. or Ravens saw the actually punch than they got some explaining to do.

That's right.

The commish has never been one to err on the side of leniency, so it seems an odd one that they didn't come down harder on him initially.

Makes you think maybe they really hadn't seen it ? I'm not Goodell's biggest fan (who is ?) but at least they got it right eventually.

Should have finished at least 40-6, some shoddy red zone offense saved the Steelers from the almightiest of arse whoopings! Huge win, both in terms of the division and after all that's gone on this week. Lose that and you're down two home games to your two divisional rivals. Great response after a lackluster performance against the Bengals last Sunday. Still lots of improving to do, but hopefully Webb gets back for the Browns in week three and we can rectify some of those offensive miscues.

Oh, and big up the Panthers for paying Steve Smith $5m this year for him to play in Baltimore! Ice up, son.
