The Ravens and the NFL should have done it from the beginning, now it just seem's like some weird double jeopardy punishment to make themselves feel better after the flack they took.

 

I'm no Ray Rice or Ravens fan but we already know he knocked out his girlfriend in a lift and dragged her body out of it, a different angle of it is largely irrelevant.

Couldnt have played even if fit last night. Was suspended for 4 games for using performance enhancing drugs............ He says they were fertility drugs because him and his missus were trying for another kid.

The commish has never been one to err on the side of leniency, so it seems an odd one that they didn't come down harder on him initially.

 

Makes you think maybe they really hadn't seen it ? I'm not Goodell's biggest fan (who is ?) but at least they got it right eventually.
