Leading soccer agency Kentaro has added a number of English club Liverpool’s pre-season friendlies to its marketing portfolio.

 

The agency will market the international television rights to Liverpool’s clashes with the Thailand and Singapore national teams as well as the club’s trip to Norway to take on FC Lyn Oslo and a glamour tie at Anfield against Atletico Madrid, the former club of Liverpool star striker Fernando Torres.

 

Kentaro, which counts the Brazil and Argentina national teams amongst its clients, also holds the rights to the Emirates Cup, which features Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Paris St Germain and Rangers, and the Audi Cup, which features Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Boca Juniors and AC Milan.

 

“We are delighted to have added another top English Premier League club to our summer portfolio,” said Peter Silverstone, managing director of Kentaro Limited. “Our summer portfolio now features matches of top teams such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Boca Juniors to name but a few. It's probably this agency thats priced up the tickets for the FC Lyn friendly. £50 and £70 tickets and only 200 for Liverpool. I've already booked my flight out there for the game, surely this is a joke or a misprint.
