More of a GF post this but regarding Samuel L Jackson, did anyone see him interviewed on Parky when he was promoting the 51st State? Did a real positive piece about Liverpool the city.

He said he was told by all dawn sarf not to come here, real horror stories. He concluded by saying most of them clearly had never been here because he had a ball.

Went up in my estimation after that.

NunPat, it was actually brought out over here a full year before over there and despite SLJ's presence, it flopped!

Did you also explain to the folk over there that you are unlikely to get a crowd of shirt wearing football fans chanting in their home town pub a day before the game (especially when you are away from home!). And that when a fixture is displayed TeamA v TeamB, it should mean the TeamA is at home...........crap film! Oh yeah, and that Liverpool isn't full of mods with tattoo'd heads (anymore!)
