I think you're doing Benitez an injustice there. He isn't totally inflexible. He's tried a number of formations while at Liverpool - most haven't worked, but some have worked spectacularly. Where there's life, there's hope.

Like Gerrard behind Torres, which will hopefully be plan A, B and fuckin C for the rest of the season ..

I think we are all gettin a little excited on here. Lets just look at it in simple terms. WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE AND OUR BIGGEST RIVALS MANAGER HAS COME OUT AND SHOWN HIS HAND, BASICALLY PROVING THAT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 19 LONG YEARS THEY ARE FUCKING SCARED OF US. lets not spoil the apple cart hey boys.

With all due respect, I've watched plenty of league title wins so i'm not getting exited at all. Fergie played his card sat back and got the reply he wanted. He then got the results he wanted.

I think rafa does not look to clever now.

Poor post, if you can't see that rafa got it completly wrong yesterday with his superb tactics then your as crazy as your post. If you cant see the flaws in this team then your crazy.

I haven't commented on his superb tactics?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Please explain why Keane never came on yesterday please. Could it be personal? I think it is and Rafa should be brought to task over this. People say nobody is bigger than the club, well in my eyes Rafa is trying to do that.

Unlike you I don't know why Keane didn't come on. I on the other hand am not inventing imaginary scenarios that have no basis in fact and no basis in common sense either.

Why has no contract been put to his adviser? for the simple reason that he wants total control of transfers and the academy.

Who told you this? Tom Hicks? George Gillett? Or are you just making stuff up?

I'm sorry but that does not sit well with me and he comes accross as a control freak.

He appears like a control freak, because that is what he is. It's no big deal, there are as many control freaks at the tops of their respective industries as there are charasmatic leaders.

John Smith once said "we don't say anything at Liverpool, we just win"

And John Smith said that before Sky. Different world now mate. Sorry, but it is.

I'd like rafa to take a little look at that. People are allowed to express there negative views on rafa if they like, because as I have said previous there are plenty of people waiting to let rip on him because as people often say "Liverpool fans are very knowledgeable" we dont take fools gladly and we can not have the wool pulled over our eyes.

No one is saying you can't rip Rafa. By all means go a head, but if your opinion is dependent on made up bullshit, then expect people to question it.

Maybe go and sit in a few pubs after a match to gauge honest supporters views on our club, it may open your eyes a little.

I'm not interested in honest supporters views. I'm interested in reality. Just because you and your buddies all agree don't make you right.

Regarding his contract, read the Liverpool Echo, you come across as one arrogant prick, sky new world now? Sky = new breed of fan who has not got a clue to be quite frank.

And I'd like to say that I have a fair bit of insight into whats happening behind closed doors, so no bullshit with me. I have only just started posting on here, but i'll throw a few things in soon just so that I can prove its no bullshit I hear.

To be honest mate, you sound like the type of person who if we did win the title then you would complain about it because we still dropped 4 points to Stoke.

I do read the Liverpool echo and didn't see the bit you allude to please provide a link to the article which states "he wants total control of transfers and the academy". If you cannot provide the link, I'll assume that it does not exist.

You'll excuse me if I don't believe your protestations of "no bullshit with me", in the face of the extensive evidence you've provided.

I concur. You cant fully blame Rafa. Certain players did not deliver. Lucas and Yossi spring to mind. But also I also think there is no way of getting away from the point of how much we miss Xabi. Without him we look abit lost for ideas.

Yes and its the boss' job to identify the players who doesn't have the mentality or the physical presence to cope in a game like this.

It was as if the players were baffled by the tactics set out by Rafa, which eventually led to the game being dictated by Stoke's alehouse tactics.

It's not simply a case of saying he must win the title, it's about Rafa proving he can learn from his mistakes.

As long as we continue to see the same flaws in the way we operate, and this applies to in-game tactics as well as transfer policy, then questions can justifiably be asked of the manager.

What did you see that led you to believe that after 100's of games under Rafa that they didn't know how to play 4231?

I see a different game at the ground to what I see on Television to be honest. Can't explain why though.

Different perspective is what you mean and I know what you mean. It's just the way some go on about it, seems like your not allowed and opinion unless you were there.

I saw a team that was geared towards not losing, than going for a win.

Which BTW is COMPLETELY different than what you said.

Anyway You sure you didn't see a team that wasn't going for it as much as you wanted them to go for it vs. a team that was playing not to lose?

Your chattin poo. The players have still got a responsibility. Thats like saying when we won in Istanbul, that it was solely down to Rafa. And not the players. You cant just blame Rafa wen we lose, but just praise the players wen we win.

And to be honest, I must of watched a different game to you if you think Stoke dictated the game. Jog on.

IMO

If Rafa doesn't win the league this season, he never will. We have never had a better chance, and a better set of players, this is Rafa's team, and he has had the money and has spent it as well.

He has made plenty of mistakes, decisions which have cost us all of which seem to be repeated over and over again, however by the same token, he has made some great decisions as well.

IMO This is the make or break time of Rafa's reign....
