I just snagged one of these free through work today and I'm going to head into town to buy a game or two tomorrow.

 

The ones on my shortlist were:

 

Guitar Hero III, Lego Star Wars, and Halo 3 (although I've never played the previous 2, does this fuck it up?) What else should I be buying, or thinking about buying?

 

Also, I was given the Arcade console which only has a lil memory card and no hard drive. The hard drive is about 60 quid. Lame. Can you not go online without a hard drive?

I think you can online without the hard drive though I've never really thought about it but you need to buy the hard drive. Why Microsoft took it off is beyond me. Go to Argos and get Project Gotham Racing 4 for the dirt cheap price of £15 and you may want Bioshock, Devil May Cry 4, Call Of Duty 4, Dead Rising, Assassin's Creed, Gears Of War, Pro Evo 2008 and Mass Effect. You don't need to have played the previous Halo games but I did before playing 3 for the complete experience.

 

Glad to see the freebies are rolling in.

Call of duty 4 is a must, i just completed it and i have never had as much enjoyment out of game ever FACT. GHIII is class too though i only use it now and again. FIFA 08 is way better than PES2008 so get on that.

 

This man speaks the truth. Guitar Hero 3, Call of Duty 4, Gears of War (Just to say you've played the game), Fifa 08. Get some. Get some.

You got it for free so I guess you won't be losing anything when it does.

 

There are tons of good games though and the online play is really good.

Chris... Get Guitar Hero III with the wireless guitar, and Guitar Hero II + Guitar.

 

Guitar Hero II has better songs, IMO and having two guitars is priceless. 2 Player GUitar = Fun for all.

 

Can you play Guitar Hero online? If so, I'll tan your ass on Sweet Child O' Mine.
