Best Number 7 since King Kenny ??

Im going for Mcmanaman.... although he dont get mentioned very often on here he was amazing, the way hes used to go past players as if they were stood still was brilliant, we've not bought a winger in the same league as him since he left to go to Madrid.

 

I loved Macca, he scored some very important goals over the years too like the belter against Arsenal, Celtic among many others plus The One Man show in the League Cup against Bolton he was unbelievable in that game, it was just a shame he left the club in the way he did, he gets my vote though hands down. :yes: :yes:

Fowler wouldnt have got half his goals without Macca. My favourite player at the time - even above Robbie. Was gutted when he left.

Yeah, Macca and Fowler were a two man side. Macca would get the ball and run the length of the pitch and Fowler would receive the ball and bang it in, the rest of the team were just stood there and took up space at times. Macca for me..

I remember Gary Ablett and Steve Staunton both wore no. 7 in Kenny's ultra-defensive final days. Either of them would get my vote. Or Nigel Clough.
