They're both behind Lindsay. Most on here won't have seen him play, but if you can imagine someone with Alonso's talent playing LB, you've got the idea.......................

Alan kennedy was one of the most average players ever to play for the club. Without his Euro final goals, no one would remember him.

 

He used to get the ball at left back and hoof it down the line all game. His goal against Madrid in 81 shocked everyone so much because he had crossed the halfway line.

 

I'd bring back Kenny and Steve Macmahon.

Good call, I'm with you on that one. One of my regrets is never being able to see any of the old time great players like Billy, Albert Stubbins and Elisha Scott.

 

I would have liked to have seen Dixie Dean, Duncan Edwards and others as well.
