Disappointed that the season looks to have petered out but the players have hit the wall. Apart from Trent who looks like he's hit the bar even with his prolonged break. From where we were last season to challenging for the title into the 34th week is nothing short of miraculous. We just didn't have the luck or the last bit of fight to last out until the final game. It happens.

Why where we where we where last season. I cant even be arsed sorting out what variations of where or were should of been used there. An entire season hangover from pushing for the quadruple and then a season after where injuries have been nuts. We haven't played well for a run for ages, we've ground out results, gone behind an insane amount  of times and mostly every single game we play no matter the quality of the opposition be it top or rock bottom  its a battle till near the end. Weve struggled too much its insane how they have dragged themselves to victory so many times.

Last night it was sickening how much Everton wanted it more, every 50/50 Dyche fucking shouting every tackle, telling them to push on in the 85th minutes while Klopp and the team just looked like they've had 2 hours sleep and would rather be anywhere else. Everyone seems run into the ground. We are looking for high energy when there just isn't any, we keep playing out of form players who keep repeating the same shit performance. I'd rather see some of the kids v westham than once again a shit show from established players. I love these players but some of them just look like they need to sit out for a while.

Ha ha, you got off light, my name was Sheshot?!

I had a lot of friends in Netherley, is the Turtle still open? Used to remind me of the bar in Star wars. When they called the initials of the spot the ball winner about 10 people would try and claim it.

Private jet for you when we do the first event.

The Turtle's long gone mate. I only moved down here last year but knew of it.

I'll make sure I'm free for it!

The game is a lot more demanding now as is Klopps way of playing but it’s difficult to justify lack of continuity at times. Gone are the days when we could put out the same 11 week after week it seems.

I don't think you can put out same 11 week after week now, but i do feel we would benefit from less changes all the time. 6 last night again after 6 at weekend - too many IMO.

I hate this iteration of our team with an absolute passion. At least last year we had the excuse of past it players coming off the back of an enormous push for four trophies.

This lot? These are the absolute dogs. A few special mentions if i may:

Darwin Nunez or Darwin 'fucking' Nunez as we all like to call him. An absolute waste of a space forward who has probably cost us a few trophies this season. He's just not fucking good enough. Better strikers have been bombed out of Liverpool for less.

Szoboslai, an utter coward of a player. Seems to posses some great traits but like Keita before him, just doesn't fancy it and has no fire in his belly. An utter waste of 60 million.

Trent. A lot of our current day issues are to do with the constant pandering to him in the team by management. He's a sublime passer but his insistence of playing a different role has fucked the system and that's on Klopp.

Konate - always said he was a donkey, like Traoare on peds. He hasn't got the brains for central defence. he cant pass and he cant score at set pieces and he's always injured. Should be sold asap.

Jota - broken

Endo - not his fault but no more than a squad player at best. A fine example of Liverpool buying on the cheap.

Gravenberch - What is he? Who is he?

I could mention Salah and VVD but that would be unfair as both are coming to the end of their careers and have given us a lot.

Attitude: Never, ever in my lifetime supporting Liverpool have i seen a team with such a casual approach to playing football matches. Say what you like about Man City, but there's a professionalism we lack in spades. We've been beaten and held by some of the WORST teams I've ever seen in this league, Luton, Everton, Manchester United, Palace, Atalanta. Utter pits of teams who have hardly been able to win matches and stop conceding. We've made to look like front runners. Utterly pathetic.

Our tactics - utter shit. Inflexible garbage. Same formation week in week out, same inverted system that fucks with everybody's head. Same game that relies on players running themselves into the ground till they break. A system that gives up a million clear cut chances a game to some of even the shittest sides around. No brains, no intelligence, just a 4-3-3 that's as old as time.

Our transfers - Lorded all over the land, our transfers have been cheap, poorly planned and pathetic. The last time we bought well was about three years ago if that. Every summer its about bargains and "just doing enough". You cant act like that and win the big trophies, its just not possible. Our summer business the last two season has been about a 2/10. Grim.

Our Owners - Money men with no love for the game. Yeah they've done ok with finances and assets as you would expect but they lack the passion you need to win things, like the Club did of old. They've relied on a guy to glue this club together whose aged about 20 years in 10 and now they have no safety net. prepare for rough waters.

Some might say we are lucky to be challenging but forget that. We were here and we had it in our hands and whats worse was that we pissed it away against some of the utter dross of the league, its unforgiveable. Id even say the Cup was won by the kids and not the seniors as they were mostly awful in the final. the only time i got excited was seing a blend of kids and seniors start to make headway but even that was tossed out for our inflexible setup.

If i was Jurgen i'd just go now. He's been great and I dont want to see him toil in his final days as he doesnt deserve it, he's given his all over the years whilst most at the club have done fuck all.

What’s really alarming is we’ve got 4 players in that team who are captains of their international team and all we screamed out for last night was leadership, it was fucking pathetic.

The way some of them have downed tools in the last few weeks is incredible I’ve never seen anything like it, if your in a three horse race for the title and that can’t spur you on then they may as well fuck off to a mid table team with no expectation, I’m still fucking raging with that shower of shite last night.

I don't think they've downed tools, I think they've just shit the bed.

For most of this season, whatever was going against them - injuries, spawny goals, shit decisions - they'd keep believing that they would be able to find a way to win; and they did, time and again.  For the last few weeks they've played with a defeatist shithouse attitude, as if they'd read stuff like Stroggy's post and now they believe it.

Its always been there.

Thats why we cant beat Luton away. Thats why Alisson and VVD bump into each other and give Arsenal a tap in. Thats why we take one point at Brighton instead of three with sloppy passing and marking. Its always been poor.

Apart from all those times it's been good (which is why we were even talking about a title challenge in the first place).

We have not many intelligent footballers look at City players whoever they sign they are cracking players whatever price they cost most of our players don’t get near that city 11

Don't agree, Guardiola just keeps buying players and gets rid of them until he finds the ones he wants to keep, because he can.

Can you imagine FSG spending £170m on Phillips and Grealish or buying 23 different left backs.

My feeling this morning is mild disappointment at this side as they are just not good enough previous Klopp sides beaten to the title were boss teams so it was heart breaking this lot gave 7 points to ManU/Everton teams who are shite clearly we need to let some players go and bring top quality so over to FSG to get the wallet out and back new manager as we can’t hide behind Klopp’s genius anymore still up the bed wetting reds as ever

Yes of course but I was referring to the constant changes to the starting line up which , even with injuries, is very high in numbers.

It is rotation though and that is down to having 5 subs I think. By definition you can make more changes.

Agree it hasn't helped as the quality has been affected but for sure the club has been looking at minutes played in certain timeframes blah blah blah.

I’m not buying this leadership thing either.  We’ve struggled in games like this loads over the years.  It now seems this nonsense that Henderson shouting at people would have changed things is coming out.  We constantly hear Keane, Neville and Carragher bang on about leadership and it’s complete bullshit.  All of the top teams, in fact most of the league now play in patterns.  It’s not like when they played.  You don’t get players dragging their teams through games.  If players go maverick and start trying to do things by themselves then the system falls apart.

I’ve seen Virg shouting at Trent plenty over the years but what’s he meant to do when the manager keeps indulging him.  What is the captain or any other leader meant to do when the team set up is for the right back to wander around the pitch and walk back to our box or switch off when we lose the ball.  The same for why only one player is going wide at a time.  It’s clearly what they’re being told to do.  The only players effort you could question in the whole team is Trents.  Yet everyone is moaning about it.

Tactically it’s not down to the players to figure these things out because they’re told what to do.  If it was down to the players then you’ve got to be asking the question why the fuck haven’t the staff intervened and said what needs to be done to fix it.  It’s not like this game was a surprise.  We’ve been playing like this for ages.
