Great band, Finally got to see them live at the Olympia in 2021 doing Architecture & Morality in full. They didn't disappoint and Andy McCluskey did his "trainee teacher dance" throughout.  Hard to choose between A & M and Dazzle Ships as their best, probably the former just edges it

This is particularly beautiful, possibly my favourite song of theirs.

A & M for me, brilliant album.

I wasn't sure about Dazzle Ships at first, it's a grower though and much better than it first appears.

I always liked Organisation too.

The first four albums are all superb, it's only from Junk Culture onwards that the quality starts to slip a little. They basically shat themselves after Dazzle Ships was such a commercial failure and went all out for commerciality with "Locomotion". They still produced the odd killer single ("Talking Loud and Clear" "Forever Live and Die" and "So In Love" for example) but, for me, the overt attempts at securing hit singles started to grate after a while.  After Paul Humphreys left it was particularly grim,

Yeah, Dazzle Ships was a bold release at the time.

Never liked Junk Culture apart from the singles you mention.

I sort of lost interest beyond that save the odd single like Never Turn Away and Pandora's Box.

They were guilty of some shite though, La Femme Accident being a prime example.
