The CL is finished as a competitive competition. Couple more years and the viewing figures will plummet. Its predictable & boring

Going to be worse next year with the new format. Reckon you'll see loads of teams playing out results to fuck others over in the last games.

City will walk tbe Champions League again. Bayern and Madrid have too many flaws. Arsenal are probably the only team that might cause them issues with all domestic ties normally being close

I think I would rather those cheating cunts win it again than have Arteta as a European Cup winning manager.

A bunch of sideways passing crabs

Without a fucking doubt, and if they’ve any sense, they’re already on the blower to Alonso.

From our perspective, you’d hope it’s a better dilemma than us or Real Madrid.

Agree.

The Premier League having more money than all the other leagues in Europe combined mean it’s only gonna get worse.

Tuchel seems to have the latter-years Rafa gift of taking the worst job at the worst possible time. The pay-offs are pretty great though.

How can taking the bayern job be bad though.

It's bayern, its not "that" hard to win a league with them.

He has them playing like us under Hodgson

Just don't see the appeal of going to Bayern at all for Alonso, especially with us and Real Madrid clearly keen. Nothing about Bayern as a club per se, just the dynamic of him being at Leverkusen and possibly pipping them to the title. Another season at Leverkusen would make more sense. No pressure to defend the title, and a crack at the Champions League - again, with little pressure.

Maybe I’m giving him too much credit.

Did Ancelotti not sign an extension? Real would be the big worry.

Yeah, if he wins the title with Leverkusen he’s probably achieved himself out of the Bayern job. Still reckon it would be a likely exit point though.
