So he's another one of your best midfielders of all time.

His name was out there as a member of that talented Ajax squad from a couple of seasons back. At the time we were rumoured to be interested in him.

Gravesen was and still is a mad bastard. Apparently he lives in Vegas now and makes a fortune playing Call of Duty

And poker and is married to a porn star.

Look how his life changed once he left the The Ev…

Anyways, on Gravenberch, I’m unconvinced.

If we were going to buy him, surely the time was last summer when Bayern got him for a knock down deal?

I didn’t think much to him when we played Ajax twice in the COVID19 season.

He’s not really a regular for a fairly average Dutch side.

I get impression he’s not lived up to the early hype and stagnated a bit. If we could get him to kick on the great, but I doubt we have the money to be taking €30m “gambles” this summer.

Given Bayern are signing Laimer from RBL, he might well be on the move. I’m very dubious it will be to us.

As someone to add some depth and maybe develop over next few years then he might be a decent buy

He is young will be 21 soon, and has reasonable experience for his age and hopefully a high ceiling - Klopp loves to develop players of course.

He'd surely offer an upgrade in squad space to Oxlade or Keita with possible potential to develop well and become a key player.

If however he would be seen as one of our desperately needed key signings to fix us now - then for my money it would be somewhat underwhelming.

If he’s the “Shrewd Liverpool can save millions by…” alternative to Jude Bellingham, I hope everyone gets on his back if he doesn’t perform as well as Bellingham does in Manchester or Madrid,

Let's hope he works out like our previous second-choice masterstrokes...
