I could honestly see UKIP (or wherever farage lays his hat) returning more MPs than the Tories if they pulled that trick. Absolutely no chance. What they'll do over the next 2 years is beef up the culture wars, it's the only card they have left because the economy is fucked and even if things are turning around in 2 years, people won't be feeling it in their pockets by then.
