The fourth series of Ozark is on Netflix next month, so I rewatched the first three to get myself up to speed. I'm surprised this doesn't get the credit I think it's due. The storylines, writing, production values and, particularly, the depth of the characters are first class.

There's a few returning shows in January. 

 

The righteous gemstones is back on 10th January. I am really looking forward to this and it feels so long since the 1st season I may rewatch it. 

 

Servant is back on Apple on the 21st January. I've not decided if I'm going to watch this. The 1st season I thought was ok and had possibilities. The 2nd was just pretty annoying. I'm trying to give shows written during the early pandemic a bit of a pass as I'm sure the creative process for the writers must have been tough in isolation. So I may give it an episode to redeem itself. 

 

Finally, a few days later billions is back. The way the last season finished gives them a chance to really freshen it up, which I think it needs.

Yeah I really liked that but thought it was wrapped up pretty well so was surprised to hear they are doing another season.

Not sure when, but Brooklyn Nine Nine is returning soon.
