Klopp style - Best disciplinary record

Considering our counter-pressing tactics, its a surprise that we have the best disciplinary record in the league.

Whilst the concept is based on overloading the player in possession when your team has lost possession, it stands to reason that we should have more yellow cards than any other team. This however does not seem to be the case.

Does this mean that we are really good at what we do or are the refs becoming better at spotting divers?

Liverpool were crowned English champions for the first time in 30 years last month, winning their first title in three decades and doing so as the fairest team in the Premier League, with only 31 yellow cards and a single red card dished out to the Reds this term.

Is there a record of how many fouls have been given for and against each team. It seems we come out on the wrong side of this every week, So it would be interesting to see if stats bear that out.
