Another week, another clean sweep for the big six. Watford are temporarily disrupting the status quo by keeping Arsenal out of sixth spot but give it a week or two and normal service will be resumed.

By the end of the season there'll be at least a 15 point gap between 6th and 7th, because outside of the top six who else is there? Who's the best of the rest? It's usually Everton or Southampton, but nah, not this time. So who then? I reckon Leicester, but they're fourth from bottom at the moment. Basically, outside of the big six it's all up in the air and almost anyone of them could finish 'best of the rest'.

Not Palace, obviously. The Hodge will have already lowered their bar of expectation to convince everyone there that 16th place would be ace. They were absolutely murdered at City, but then that was inevitable really as the Hodge has already written the next few games off.

Sakho made his first appearance of the season and almost put through his own net in the first couple of minutes when he headed against his own post. Loftus-Cheek then hit the post at the right end after a fine run and shot, and then he shot wide when he should have done better.

That was as good as it got for Palace who held out until 44 minutes before Sane eventually broke their resistance. Sane then teed up Sterling for 2-0 and Aguero then did likewise for 3-0. In between, Sterling missed an open goal, so no hat-trick for him the little gobshite.

Aguero got the fourth and Delph curled in a beauty with his weak foot to make it 5-0. Great goal that, not that it makes any difference to him as no matter what he does he’s only ever going to be an afterthought. Still, when the rest of your career has been spent as Leeds and Aston Villa anything is an improvement.

Elsewhere, Mourinho was sent to the stands again, United won again and they ran riot in Moscow too. They can fuck off though, the cunts. Nothing else to say about them.

Spurs just about held on to beat West Ham in a game in which they were cruising until they went down to ten men. Kane headed them in front after big Andy gave the ball away cheaply. He added a second when he converted a rebound from a good Joe Hart save.

Eriksen made it 3-0 and that looked to be that, but Hernandez headed in from close range (of course, out) and then Aurier was sent off for two rather innocuous fouls. Wile. E. Kouyate thumped a header past Lloris to set up a grandstand finish and although West Ham piled on the pressure, Spurs just about held out for the win.

There was a big kick off at the end with Llorente and Winston Reid, and Hernandez got involved and completely lost his shit, shouting and shoving people and generally acting like some chav scrote. Never seen him behave like that before, must be the company he's been keeping of late….

The 'Worst ref in the league' competition is on a par with 'Which Manc club is going to get the most offside goals this season' in terms of excitement. Much more exciting than the Premier League itself.

It's Bobby Madley and United. It won't even be close come the end of the season.

It was nailed on, saw it coming weeks ago but I'm not taking the blame for Matip's schoolboy defending.

The only surprise is that fucking bum Ayoze Perez didn't score too.

To be fair if it wasnt against us, it'd be one of the funniest/most fitting goals ever.
