Just looking at the teams left in the Europa League and can't escape the nagging feeling that the mancs are going to win this. I mean last year - Borussia Dortmund, Villareal, Sevilla, all teams we had to get past (and didn't). The only teams with half a chance of beating the mancs over two legs - Roma and Lyon - have been fucking drawn together and the better side on paper is 4-2 down.

Jammy, jammy cunts. And it looks like the sandpit last night didn't break any of the twat's legs.

I'd fancy Gladbach to beat them. Well I hope so, I've got them to win it at 28/1

Who gives a fuck? It's not like we are or were in it.

I do. I don't want those cunts winning a raffle, never mind European honours. I can't say it keeps me awake at night like, but I was perusing last night's results this morning and thought it looked a weak field this year, unlike last year where there were a few relative heavyweights.

Yeah but all you do is give yourself grief. Its not like you can make a difference. Just dont get hung up on them is my mantra.

Mad to think that Milan Baros scored 41 international goals in 93 appearances.

In fact, between 2001 and 2006 he scored 30 goals in 53 games.

He also scored 48 goals in 93 games for Galatasaray.

I liked him a lot, not least because of the Euro 2004 top scorer bet that a lot of us cleaned up with at 66/1 or 50/1.

Didn't we try that experiment before with Charlie Adam?

Exactly. We shouldn't sign a player just for his set pieces because what usually happens is that the quality of those set pieces deteriorates the moment he puts on a Liverpool shirt, or we simply do not win enough free kicks in the attacking third. What we're then left with is a player whose other deficiencies make him a liability in our team.
