That City keeper seems erratic.  I've watched him put in man of the match displays and loot utter dogshite,

 

Strange season for premier league keepers at top clubs.  Most of them are not performing, Cech/Lloris.  We've not had a decent keeper since Reina in his prime.  Can Karius change that, too early to tell but he's been more than ok for some time now.  Many promising signs.

 

I'm just relieved that Mignolet no longer haunts us.  I'n a better shot stopper than that clown.  Lost count of the certain goals we'd have conceded if he remained.

He might have improved but its not hard to improve on turd. (Both his and Mignolets form). Van Dijk coming in has helped Karius look better.

 

We need another keeper in. An experienced one. I'd have Reina back or even Cassilas in for a year.

De Gea is the best goalie in the league. Karius is at least as good as anyone else; better than almost all of them.

Shit, to me, is someone who doesn't stop many shots, drops crosses, can't kick and generally causes panic in the defence and crowd any time a ball is near them.

 

See: Simon Mignolet.

 

Don't see: Iceman Karius.

The day Karius has a stormer means our defence has been utter dogshit, then they get slagged as well.

He's had good positive moments this season when he's needed to have them, when it could have been disastrous for us if he hadn't.  Karius and the whole defence stepped up a gear when VvD signed, although there's still room for improvement as a unit.

But if you dislike Karius then you dislike him, and nothing he does will please you.

Just to give us a bit of perspective on what an upgrade Karius is, Bogdan turned up for the lap of honour yesterday.

You've never seen him keep a clean sheet? Or make a good save? Or claim a cross? radiate confidence through the back four?

 

Have you actually seen him at all?
