I know there are a few old gamers out there in TLW so the above words might mean something to a few of you. If it's warm memories rather than shudders you might just be interested in Obsidian's new game Pillars of Eternity. Yes it's a old school isometric RPG in all its glory but made shiny and new. Not everyone's cup of tea I realize. Real time with pause tactical battles isn't for everyone. There is also lots of reading with not a QTE in sight. However if you always wished someone had made a sequel to the Baldur's Gate series than this is it.
