Normally, I would be against our involvement.

But, in an imperfect world, a spot of bombing, and our tornados will not make much difference, if they support an Arab ground campaign has some logic.

a spot of bombing?  It's not like going out for lunch and a chinwag with your girlfriends you div.

Apparently the top IS commanders are ex Iraqi military top brass. More top work by the yanks there. You should always, always put the Brits in charge of conquest, always. If we'd been tasked to take over Iraq we'd have 90% of their oil, Saddam Hussein's sons would be at Sandhurst and the Kurds would have a cricket team.

Well done Cameron and the british media. Another life lost. Why publicise air strikes? Should be a media blackout. Wipe them out to save lives not face/votes. I hate this world. The man was trying to help people. RIP Alan Henning

It's anger inducing and fairly sickening news, but I don't think you can blame Cameron et al for this one.

He was a dead man the minute he was captured, irrespective of air strikes or not.

They're just horrific, gratuitously violent thugs who are simply killing for killings sake.

That's right, it's all our fault for initiating air strikes. ISIS were all sweetness and light until our six planes bombed a couple of military targets this week.

I reckon he and all the other hostages were killed at the same time but they have staggered the release.  Either way they are cunts and need to be stopped.

The stupid yanks don't want much involvement/intervention in Syria yet this is where the moment gained momentum & where these hostages were captured.  It really is all or nothing.  Either do a proper fucking job and wipe them all out (ISIS that is) or just vanish and leave the various muslim factions to fight amongst themselves and commit numerous atrocities they seem to enjoy

point missed you bad wankers

So you expect a media blackout over air strikes that for a start had to be passed through the House of Commons and also that no one would notice Six 28 tonne aircraft laden with bombs flying out of Cyprus numerous times a day.

Not to mention they beheaded the previous Brit before any talk of air strikes.

It doesn't work that way anymore, bud.

Maybe shit is getting a little more real for you guys with Britons being targeted now.  Whatever happened with that Muslim guy who beheaded an innocent British person in the street about a year back? Doubting much, cuz that would be offensive to his people.

Passing anything through the House of Commons is public.  There could never be a blackout in this day and age.  Engage your brain but hey at least you've found the Caps Lock.

perhaps the opprobrium amongst most thinking people is tempered by the number of completely innocent muslim women, children and men killed on a daily basis by the US, UK or their agents.  Beheading is probably not as barbaric as blowing people into several pieces.
