As with Hull away, we looked as though it was beneath us to play with focus and intensity, as though the memory of playing well, the knowledge that we can be a good team, would be enough to see us past inferior opposition. Clearly the lesson wasn't learned.

Mignolet deserves a small amount of the blame for the goal IMO, defo a pressure pass that didn't need to be made. Just fucking boot it, it's not a crime. Still doesn't excuse the brain fart from Toure, who sadly is showing his early performances were the exception rather than the norm.

Same story all season, we rarely control games and it comes down to a poor midfield and bad tactics, the forwards being in good form have masked it all season. You won't find consistency unless you learn to control the game better plus the work rate is terrible, we get outworked regularly . You can't account for Toure playing that ball across the box but it will happen when you fuck about with the ball 20 yards from your own goal, one mistake and the opposition are in.

Great save by Mignolet but if there is a keeper who has worse distribution than him I have yet to see him and the problem is compounded with two centre halves who are uncomfortable on the ball.

He makes long passes - we're loosing all headers because they have huge trolls all over the defense, he takes it short - they press the shit out of our defenders because we can't control the midfield with Gerrard and Henderson against their 3 grafters - being overrun in midfield = allow them to press high, and our defenders are shite under any pressure.

As long as Rodgers is the manager then probably not. Its plainly team orders to keep on doing this as its every time he has the ball in every match. But as a player you have to have some nous too but he has yet to display any.
