We should know by now that Utd play without a midfield and leaves the wingers high upfield. Therefor you leave the full backs, and push one of the centre backs up in space, let the wingers pull their back four wide and get behind them with runs from midfield. Instead, we tried to play it like a normal game. Didn't help that Mo stank up the place and Electric Nunez has the game intelligence of my cat's litter box. Harvey was good, tho. And Diaz put in a shift.

Obviously disappointed. Too many of our trusted plsyers didn't show up. For me, Endo/Macca/Salah/Nunez were not up to their usual standards. Endo and Macca should have closed down the midfield in the second half.

Had one mistake where he dwelled on the ball too long, but he looks mature far beyond his age. And Bobby Clark, starting to think he is the real deal

Yeah, I'm not a fan because I am critical to some of our players. At least your username is matching your personality.

I'm pissed off now, so probably not fair on the players, but.... Allison is often been hailed on here as world class. Is he fuck. His basics are not good and because of that, he messes up quite regularly. Van Dijk is arrogant, which is fine if he could be arsed to do some of the dirty work. Too often he just strolls beside attackers. It is also more clear as he is now considerably slower. Trent isn't even trying to defend any more, so put him in midfield or on the bench. MacAllister has his moments, but as a def mid against a top team - never in a million years. Sloppy under pressure and gets run over physically. And Nunez... Yeah, he is cool. But he is not a top class striker. About as cool as a new brewed cup of tea. This can be the night we lost the league. And btw... Taylor fucked us again.

Trent should be a midfielder from now on

I know he's been injured, but I would prefer it if Trent tried to do some defensive work.

Joellinton should have been sent off twice, and we got bookings for absolutely nothing. Still the focus for the media was not Taylors plane crash of a performance, but the Jota dive.

Time is running out for Darwin.

I was fooled by his purple patch earlier this autumn, and Dave U's weekly talk about him as "electric" and "most exciting player in the league". Thing is, the guy plays with his head down, is fairly limited technically and is by no means lethal enough. He is fast and strong, but I don't think it will be enough. Will have to turn it around very fast, or he will end up like Carroll: a ponytailed sub soon to be sent out on numerous loan deals.
