Wished I could have seen this was watching online commentary expecting a blood stoppage on Marquez then he wins by KO. Amazing scenes. Pretty much ends Mayweathers career in a funny way. I guess there is Alverez or Martinez but I don't see Floyd financially motivated enough for those fights.

Gutted for Manny. But at the same time delighted for Marquez.

Both true warriors. It was toe to toe.

Considering Marquez had a broken nose and his eye was closing over, that was an all or nothing punch.

Watching that gif, just wondering at what split second point Manny knew the punch was there and knew it was over. Can't believe he left himself open.

Call it a day, lad. A true great in my eyes.

Devestating. He was well on top by that point as well. Hope he fights on, he has loads more to give the sport. Though I guess we can all give up any hope of seeing him and Mayweather going at it.

That's what made the whole thing so remarkable, Manny had looked very good up to that point, he looked like the guy who had torn through so many weight divisions and world class fighters, then wham. 6am and I was screaming like a lunatic, I can expect some shit in my letter box from my neighbours when I wake up, but I can't remember ever seeing anything as dramatic as that. Pacquaio is one of the greatest fighters of all time, has a world-class, battle tested chin and he was knocked clean out.

As I said, initially, stunning. I'm definitely going to watch it again when I wake up.
