None. I had the misfortune of working for EMI when they first arrived on the scene. The strange thing was that the initial print/production run of their first single 'wannabe' was 250k, and i was entrusted to print that rubbish. I quetioned a few guys at work and said 'what the fuck is this and who are the spice girls?'.

We played the disc on the music system and immediately afterwards 20 of us confirmed it was shit.

 

I in some way feel responsible for letting them loose on the public, through no fault of my own. Given the choice i would have happily destroyed any masterdisc from that point onwards that they would eventually send to press. Like i already said the initial run was 250kwhich then stretched to 750k, EMI knew that tits 'n' ass (no singing ability) would sell at that time.

 

Im so sorry.

 

P.S. The EMI plant in Swindon was on a road called Penny Lane which they specially paid for.

Mel B or Emma Bunton. Halliwell would obviously get it, but I couldn't be arsed with any pillow talk afterwards - you'd never get a words in edgeways. However, Posh and the other one are horrible. One's too skinny and the other is built like a fella.
