In madrid there is a hostel I stayed at for a while. Which was ten euro's a night it's really easy to find a cheap acomodation. Just dont stay at the Bernabu part. You can go anywhere in madrid when your there for 1 euro. Where I stayed was the Bilbao bit. Nice place beutiful women lots of things to see lots of places you can get pissed and best of all many cheap hostel's hope i have helped.

Apparently there are flights from Bristol that might be worth looking into. Was hoping to go over to this with my Dad but it's not gonna happen.

It looks like it's a cheap flight out, but over £200 back for a return. That's how I read it anyway.

You could always fly home from Seville with Ryanair, there's a high speed bullet train linking the two cities, takes 2hrs.

That's how it was meant to be. I wasn't going to bother with accomodation yet as I'm sure there'll be somewhere but if I can get a nice-priced flight, ta for the hostel info karl & simon

I qualified for a PSV ticket, the ticket office thought otherwise. I've heard this game may go the same way, oversubscribed.

If you can get a flight to Basel mate you can get an easyjet return flight for £42 to Madrid like I have. I'm flying the day before game come back day after. Think easyjet have stopped the Liverpool - Basel flight for the winter tho, so maybe look into flying to Zurich as it's only an hr train to Basel....

I do not qualify for a ticket and need one for me and my Dad but I can't see it happening to be honest. Our allocation will be sold out and it will be more difficult to pick up tickets over in Madrid at a "reasonable" price becauase all the Athletico fans want to go too so they can see Torres play!

What a result just got back from my jollies and my mate has the flights booked and at a bargain price of nine euros return, happy days.
