He was pretty fucking good today. Gerrard was very good today also, but Xabi stood out above him. Seriously class today.

 

I thought Gerrard was mainly below par today, like he has been a lot this season.

 

Xabi, yet again, was superb. A class act on and off the field.

Just think too many times, he needlessly gave the ball away. Did some good things aswell, great pass to set Keane up. But then again, I probably expect too much from Gerrard every game.

 

Although credit to him, he has still got a scoring record this season that any striker would be proud of.

Gerrard's been told to play a withdrawn role or he's carrying some injury. He didnt get forward much and was clearly in a more holding role than a support the strikers one.

 

He didnt have a bad game at all just that alonso had such a good one.

Any news on his injury? Looked in bad pain, but he walked back to the bench with it strapped up in a brace thingy. Let's hope it's not too serious as we struggled when he went off.
