Should be played before they come out,it pumps the crowd up aswell every time i hear it it makethe hairs stand up on me neck wheter its on the radio or at a game,it makes you want to generate a bit of atmosphere which has been lacking lately at league games.

The players should hear the start in the tunnel and the end as they're coming out. Like how it was. Today it was shit.

Spot on mate,it should be echoeing down the tunnel as the teams prepare to come out, so the players can stick their chests out,as if to say "welcome to Anfield, you're getting fuck all today"

I agree with that .Plus why did they not tell us of these changes .oh wait hang on this is LFc ,my mistake

The players asked for this?.Years of tradition gone because the players do not like it .I doubt that .Probably more down to TV and sponsors for premiership worldwide viewing.

Should be played as the players come onto the pitch and as the huge flag is being passed around the Kop.

I really dont understand why the manager & players want it played when they do.

George turned down Gerry part way through and YNWA just petered out. The ending was a bit half hearted imo.

Maybe if they didn't cut to adverts when it was on would help.

Its that fucking Premiership anthem bollocks that fucked it up, I wonder what the fine is for not playing that shite before the game? Would it be worth 19 fines to just fuck it off for home games?

I hate that anthem bullshit. It's the gayest routine ever, done purely for TV shots of the players standing there. I also hate the whole shakey-hands routine, fuck that off.

The FA have a new scheme "get on with the game." Lets do that by coming onto the pitch, warming up and kicking off.

And they can play samba de janeiro when we score.

Don't joke about this. With American owners in charge, playing stupid music when we score could well be on the agenda. The rapidly dissipating ground move and the turmoil behind the scenes are bad enough, but if they start playing music when we score I'm afraid I'll have to kill someone. Probably Parry, as he's geographically closest.

I prefer it to be finishing as the teams come out. Couldn't hear all that was said on the tannoy, and missed that bit about the players wanting it.

Did they want it to inspire them, to make them play better? Didn't work did it? It inspired Boro, and not us.

That made me laugh, but I heard YNWA did get fkd up yesterday.

YNWA always has been at home games. The best YNWA was at Chelsea when we just kept singing the Chorus over and over, or again against Chelsea in 2005 when the final whistle blew in the Champions league semi.
