Not in Garcias class, no way

This made me laugh out loud. Garcia never had much fucking class cus he

was mainly shit apart from a few glimpes, people who jizzed in their pants

about a player who gave the ball away nearly everytime he got the bloody thing.

Yossi is the man

Haven't seen that much of him, but he impressed me on Saturday. Very dangerous player with the ball at his feet - running at players. Always positive. Good technique. Not a big name, but a hard working team player - just Rafa's type.

He could be our new Mcmanaman. We certainly need someone with the ability to run at the opposition with pace from a deeper position. It makes all the difference in those games, especially away from, home, when we're under the cosh.

Spot on. You should post more often.

There was no way of knowing how bad that would end.

  • 6 years later...

Last time we played a European semi second leg, same competition in fact, he scored the extra-time goal which at that point had us 2-1 up on aggregate. The lesser-spotted Aquilani having bagged the opener in the first half.

Fella in front of me screamed at Yossi for pretty much that whole game for being a lazy cunt and not caring because he knewing he was leaving. Everyone was buzzing when he scored, then Sally Gunnell got the vital away goal and it was the end of an era in so many ways.

Sure it was that night someone supposedly stopped El Jefe's car on the way out of Anfield and he told them he was leaving in the summer too. No-one wanted to believe it, but even if apocryphal it rang too true to disregard.

Hope to fuck tonight is the real start of the repair job from back then. Know all that's rambling a fair bit, but on a night like tonight it's what Yossi's name brings flooding back.
