Early Rod Stewart was great stuff...Gasolin Alley, Every Picture Tells a Story and An Old Raincoat Won't Let You Down were all terrific albums. And Creedence Clearwater Revival - what the fuck? Probably the greatest countryrock come swamp/blues-band ever, and nothing to be ashamed of.
