Liverpool V Sunderland

Xabi's been a passenger in the game apart from his goal. It's almost polar the way the ball just comes back whenever it's passed up to Morientes. We just don't need a 5-man midfield against the likes of Sunderland.

Obviously we're going to win this game and it has been alright so far, watching from where I am anyway. It justs seems really clear that we need 2 up front.

NOT PPLIVE! :tease:

The channel list on the site has gone down. Normally I would, the picture is better, you can still get on but I'm willing to compromise picture quality for having English commentary on Coolstreaming. I could have told him to download PPLive but due to the channel list not being up it would have probably confused the lad. You can still get on but if I'm honest I couldn't be arsed explaining it to him. I've had to tell a shed load of people on lfcstreams what to do, it's easier to tell them to use Coolstreaming.

Got to say though, Steve Finnan's looked really good so far today.

I think Finnan struggled more than Warnock... especially early on. The first 15 minutes was ok, but apart from that the only positive thing was the goal. Im not feeling confident with our back 4 at all... Seeing Sunderland finding space behind our line, time and again is frightening! Sami (while not beeing bad) is beeing exposed by his lack of pace time and time again. % man midfield is not working, and we doesnt give Morientes any support at all. Sissoko has been a bit hot, and his yellow was a very bad tackle. Hope he can calm down. Im sure we will improve in the second half, because we did`nt function as a team. I would like to see Garcia on for Sissoko, and Cisse pushed up front. That would give ouyr team more shape!

Not convinced at all by this display. Any doubts I had about bringing Owen back have been erased by the diabolical finishing today. We also need a right winger and a fast centre back. We aren't good enough and that's even before Rafa's tactical errors.
