Football is dead? The greatest comeback in the history of the competition? Every emotion you could ever imagine in one match? Even had we lost, that final brought the competition to life and gave it an incredible and fitting end. that game was every reason fans watch football.

"Benitez has won it with a team of players that Gerrard and Carragher would be the only ones who would get in Utds 1st team"

HAHAHAHA. Neville better than Finnan, Smith, Saha, or Bellion better than Baros, Cisse and Morientes OR even Mellor or Pongolle. I suppose they would never want a player of Xabi's quality anywhere near their team then? Or Garcia with 13 goals from midfield?

They are running scared, They are afraid that Horseface, Ferdinand, and Ronaldo will all leave this summer, that they will be replaced by dross, they will have a poor season next year with no CL qualification, sponsors will walk away, partly due to the poor form but mainly due to the antics of shareholders utd and Glazer will walk away leaving the club in massive debt. It almost makes you feel sorry for them, almost.

Hmm, let's review.... FA Cup, mancs all over Arsenal, the van Horsheshit unable to hit the proverbial barn door, lose on penno's. Some freakish cross between Kezman and Dutch Amish Yank buys the clubs, financed eight ways to Sunday and allegedly is going to put a transfer cap on. Their future rests on an Portugese one-trick pony and a volatile exiled granny shagging Scouser. The midfield is being held together by an ageing Keano and another midfielder who has to wear spandex to keep his hammies warm. They've got no goalkeeper, a coke-snorting 120,000K seeking central defender who is smashing up pubs/hotel rooms and partying away from Sweden to London. About their only bright spot is some Heinze, but then he's probably descended from fleeing Nazi's.

Wouldn't write them off, though.
