Buy the ticket, go to the airport, check in and get told it's not valid. Then you go to the "temporary passport"-office and get one for this travel. Just make sure you check in a couple of hours before the flight. Or isn't that possible in England? I know it is in Norway.

You have to have six months in many muslim countries now (and the USA as well apparently) in case they have to detain you. It's fuckinbg ridiculous.

 

The only place to get a passport renewed in England is at the passport office.

 

Doesn't matter now anyway. I'm just not going. Let's not talk about it any more :-(

Kop, we used to have temp passports but the government got rid of them about ten years ago.
