I've come to the conclusion that to be a successful manager you must first of all be an excellent man manager, and your players must actually want to play for you. 

 

That, is where I think Ten Haag ha failed, he's a fucking knobhead. Same goes for all of utds managers since Ferguson, Moyes didn't have the tactical acumen. Van gaal was a knob, Mourinho, well, we all know he's a prize winning prick. Solksjaer, again, in the moyes category. And as I said earlier. Ten haag is a wanker.

Without wanting to sound stereotypical (possibly racist?) what I like about the Dutch is they don’t fucking lack self confidence.

Probably not but unless he brings instant success, or is ridiculously charismatic and likely the best manager in the world a la Klopp, how will they know unless they give the manager enough time to prove it either way? Think they've had 8 managers in 10 years, 5 of them "permanent", it's self fulfilling.

Not that I'm arsed about them of course, I hope it carries on for a long time, but I don't want to see us go the same way. A Jürgen Klopp is so rare.

Personally think it's an underwhelming signing. Obviously he has his plus points(attacking football, won stuff etc)but it just doesn't seem to be the type of manager a club of our size goes for. I guess it's mostly the fact he's come from the Dutch League and he doesn't have a big profile.
