I'm at the hoping De Bruyne's leg falls off stage at the moment, not sure which of the stages of grief that is, but he is head and shoulders above any other player in the league, and if he stays fit, City will piss it by 8 points.

He'll need plenty of that with his new haircut.

Draws are the death of success. I'd rather lose going for the win than protect a draw against 99 percent of the teams in this league.

That 2018/19 season I wasn't gutted after the draws at Everton and United but ultimately it's what cost us the league - to be fair City won 19 out of 20 or something.

This time around only Villa or Arsenal are the games where we can be okay with a point away. A lot of games like West Ham are real banana skins and I never look forward to Everton or United away because no matter how superior we are to either of them, the intensity of those games tend to often work in the favour of the poorer team.

Bar City, I would expect us to win all of our home games and I'd be hopeful we can beat them at home. Spurs is a potential banana skin, but they are a real banana skin for City as well.

City going far in Europe and for once getting a horrible FA cup draw helps us a lot.

De Bruyne is going to make a huge difference to them, but a lot of it will be little bits of luck like Ederson being out for a while or Rodri picking up an injury etc.

Fact is we have a great chance. We are two points clear and they have to come to Anfield. What we have to do is ensure we win all our home games and beat the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth, Everton, West Ham and the red Mancs away.

How about effing Rodri getting booked or sent off . Reffing the big shite would help as a starter never mind injuries.

Looking at fixture list looks like we have it worse have to contend with Goodison and OT being like fucking war zones too.

Yeah, they definitely have the more favourable set of fixtures and from now until we play them it’s a ridiculously easy run for them. On the other hand, perhaps having it somewhat tougher over the first half of the season is why they’re not top now.

There’s going to be barely any room for error so it’s back to treating every league game like a cup final, knowing that we can’t drop points in stupid games. Next up is Bournemouth away and if we can’t win that, any hopes of the title are completely and utterly gone.

What cost us was City winning their last 14 games; fuck all we could do about that.

In terms of potentially tricky games they have : Us away, Palace away, spurs away, Brentford away, Brighton away, forest away and arsenal at home.

We have some horrid fixtures: United, Everton away, Brentford away, villa away, forest away, West Ham away.

Gonna be some effort from us.

We both have 18 games to go.  This early, there's no point speculating about who will get points where; that way madness lies.
